Nov12Nottinghamshire garages get rubbish advice
On Monday 2 November 2009, twenty Environment Agency inspectors, in partnership with local authorities, made unannounced visits to inspect 100 small Nottinghamshire garages and tyre fitters.
Checking to make sure that these small businesses had the appropriate registrations and permits in place, the inspectors also offered advice on the safe handling of waste materials that could be harmful to the environment.
