10/12/2009 SWR works with leading garden centre retailer Dobbies to increase recycling.: We are happy to announce that SWR has been appointed by Dobbies Garden Centres as its waste management supplier for the company’s 25 garden centres across the UK. SWR is responsible for all waste types produced by Dobbies and will be working very closely with the retailer to maximize the proportion of waste that is disposed of via sustainable means.

20/11/2009 European Week For Waste Reduction (EWWR): This week, commencing November 21st, sees the start of the first ever ‘European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR).
12/11/2009 Nottinghamshire garages get rubbish advice: On Monday 2 November 2009, twenty Environment Agency inspectors, in partnership with local authorities, made unannounced visits to inspect 100 small Nottinghamshire garages and tyre fitters.

It was very well attended by both the industry and organisations with various needs and aspirations to improve the way in which they manage all or elements of their waste.
10/09/2009 SWR to work with Brewers to increase recycling: We are happy to announce that SWR is now working with Brewers, managing collections, waste disposal and recycling for 92 of its national sites.

09/09/2009 SWR gains ISO 9001 accreditation: SWR is accredited to the International Quality Standard (ISO 9001:2008) for providing customers with a single point of contact for dealing with their recycling and waste management requirements.
28/08/2009 SWR moves into new London home: It’s all happening at SWR this September. As well as our new website going live and getting ISO 9000 accredited, our London office has moved home to a great location a stones throw from Waterloo.
27/08/2009 SWR are at RWM 2009: This Monday coming, the Recycling and Waste Management exhibition is being held in the Concourse Suites of the NEC in Birmingham and SWR will be exhibiting.
